These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of Amiable. By using the platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Users must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Provide truthful and accurate information
  • Not use the platform for unlawful or harmful activities

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
  • Ensuring accuracy of profile information
  • Any activity performed under your account

3. AI-Powered Matchmaking Disclaimer

  • Amiable provides matchmaking recommendations only.
  • We do not guarantee relationship success, marriage outcomes, or compatibility accuracy.
  • Match suggestions are generated using AI algorithms and may not be perfect.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Harass or exploit other users
  • Impersonate individuals
  • Upload illegal or offensive content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer our AI or systems
  • Use Amiable for scams or solicitation

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

5. Credits, Payments & Refund Policy

Amiable sells Credits, a virtual currency used to:

  • Unlock masked profiles
  • Send requests
  • Access premium features

Refund Policy

  • Credits are non-refundable once used
  • Unused Credits may not be redeemed for cash
  • Refunds may only be issued in cases of billing errors at our discretion

6. Profile Masking & Paid Unlocks

Users acknowledge:

  • Certain user details remain hidden until Credits are used
  • Unlocking a profile does not guarantee response or match success

7. User Content & Rights

You retain ownership of your content but grant Amiable a license to:

  • Store, analyze, and display your profile
  • Process chat data for AI matchmaking
  • Improve platform functionality

8. Safety & Identity Verification

We may:

  • Verify identities
  • Remove suspicious or fake accounts
  • Monitor for fraud or abuse

We do not guarantee all profiles are genuine.

9. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Fraud or misuse is detected
  • Required by law

Users may close accounts at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

Amiable is not liable for:

  • User interactions
  • Emotional distress
  • Relationship outcomes
  • Data loss beyond reasonable control
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Amiable from claims arising from:

  • Misuse of the platform
  • Violation of laws
  • Breach of these Terms

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without limiting international enforceability.

13. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes shall first be attempted through negotiation.
  • If unresolved, courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka shall have jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use indicates acceptance.
